Heavy Fabrication and Structural Steel Section
The heavy fabrication area of the workshop is where the main structural components of jaw crushers, cone crushers, and impact crushers begin their manufacturing journey. Large-format steel plate cutting — using CNC plasma or laser cutting equipment — produces the side plates, base frames, and structural panels that form the outer shell of the crusher. These cut components are then cleaned, prepared, and brought to the welding stations where certified welders assemble them into the finished fabricated frames using a combination of manual and semi-automated welding processes.
The welding quality visible in the workshop footage reflects the structural demands placed on crusher frames in service. Jaw crusher frames and cone crusher main frames must withstand enormous cyclic crushing forces over tens of thousands of operating hours without developing fatigue cracks or structural failures — a requirement that demands not only correct weld design and joint preparation but also consistent weld quality across every joint in the assembly.
