Gear damage


The gear is one of the main components of the sand washing machine. There are three types of wear: 1: Adhesive wear - caused by metal-to-metal contact, the surfaces bonding together and then tearing apart. The reason may be insufficient lubricating oil, or the gear is not Correct meshing; 2: Abrasive wear - caused by external particles, such as dust and sand; 3: Corrosive wear - chemical attack on the gear surface caused by contaminated lubricating oil or additives.


If the gear is damaged, it will seriously affect the working condition of the sand washing machine, thereby affecting the working efficiency of the entire production line. Gear damage is generally caused by the following four reasons:


1. The material selection of the gear did not meet the requirements, its strength was not enough, and the load it suffered was too large, resulting in its damage.


2. The precision of gear processing and the hardness of the tooth root after heat treatment did not meet the requirements.


3. During the long-term operation of the sand washing machine, the gears are short of oil, are not lubricated in time, and dry wear with the internal components of the machine, resulting in damage to the gears of the sand washing machine.


4. The maintenance of the sand washing machine shaft and the low-speed shaft of the reducer does not reach the balance specified in the instruction manual, resulting in damage to the machine gears. In severe cases, it may also cause damage to the bearings.


For the above reasons, you should choose a sand washing machine made by a large manufacturer. The quality of the body and accessories will be guaranteed. In addition, in the daily operation of the sand washing machine, the staff need to do a good job on each component of the sand washing machine. For maintenance work, refuel the sand washing machine regularly, and promptly check whether the bearing is damaged and the degree of wear of the sealing ring. If there is wear, check the lubricating oil of the parts immediately to ensure that the oil level is on the volume line and is clean and pollution-free. Furthermore, when installing the sand washing machine, attention should be paid to the installation standards and distance, and the sand washing machine shaft and the low-speed shaft of the reducer should be adjusted to a better parallelism to ensure the stability of the equipment and extend the service life of the sand washing machine.


Stator and rotor core failure


The stator and rotor are made of mutually insulated silicon steel sheets and are the magnetic circuit part of the motor. Once the iron core fails, the eddy current will increase and the iron core will overheat locally, affecting the normal operation of the motor. Failures of the stator and rotor cores are mainly caused by the following reasons.


1. Excessive wear or poor assembly of the bearings causes friction between the stator and the rotor, causing damage to the surface of the iron core, which in turn causes a short circuit between the silicon steel sheets, increases the iron loss of the motor, and causes the motor temperature to rise too high.


Solution: Use a fine file and other tools to remove the thorns and eliminate the short circuit of the silicon steel sheet. After cleaning, apply insulating paint and heat and dry.


2. Use too much force when removing the old winding, causing the teeth to skew and open outward, damaging the iron core.


Solution: When the teeth are skewed, you can use needle-nose pliers, wooden hammers and other tools to repair them to reset the teeth, and add hard insulating materials such as green shell paper and bakelite boards between the silicon steel sheets with gaps that are difficult to reset; And when the tooth ends of the iron core are axially opened outwards and the pressure rings on both sides are not tight, a hole can be made in the center of a disc made of two steel plates (the outer diameter is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the stator winding end), and a hole can be drilled through Use a stud to clamp both ends of the iron core, and then tighten the studs to restore the core to its original shape.


3. The surface of the iron core is corroded due to moisture and other reasons.


Solution: At this time, it is necessary to polish it with sandpaper, and then apply insulating paint after cleaning.


4. The surrounding group grounding generates high heat and burns the core or teeth.


Solution: If the core grooves or teeth are burned, you can use tools such as chisels or scrapers to remove the deposits, apply insulating paint and dry it. If the firmness of the winding is affected, you can use epoxy resin to repair the burned parts. iron core.


5. The connection between the iron core and the machine base is loose.


Solution: The original positioning screws can be tightened. If the positioning screws fail, the positioning holes can be re-drilled and tapped on the machine base, and the positioning screws can be tightened.


6. Because the stator winding is short-circuited or grounded, the arc burns the iron core and damages the insulation between the silicon steel sheets, causing a short circuit.


Solution: When the burn is not serious, you can clean the iron core first to remove dust and oil, then file off the burned and melted silicon steel sheets with a small file and polish them flat to eliminate the defects of the sheets melting together. Then take out the ventilation slot piece of the stator core near the fault point, so that the silicon steel piece has some room for loosening during repair, then use a steel piece to peel off the silicon steel piece at the fault point, and remove the carbide on the burned silicon steel piece. Finally, the silicon steel sheet is coated with insulating paint.


7. Poor fastening and motor vibration cause the iron core to become loose.


Solution: Insert a thin layer of mica, and finally drive in the ventilation slots to keep the iron core tight.


8. Inadvertently damaged by mechanical force during overhaul.


Solution: Pay attention to protection during maintenance.


Safety rules for daily use


1. The user should install protective equipment on the V-belt according to the specific conditions on site before operating it.


2. Before starting, you must check each lubrication point to see if there is enough grease, and first rotate the rotor and other components by hand to check if there are any abnormalities in the machine.


3. After starting the motor, wait until the operation is normal, and then start gradually adding materials.


4. If any abnormal response occurs during operation, stop feeding immediately. After all materials are discharged from the discharging chute, stop the motor for inspection. After troubleshooting, restart the machine. Note: Before starting the machine, the materials in the cavity must be cleared and started without load.


5. The machine should rotate in a fixed direction and should not rotate in the opposite direction.


6. No repair or cleaning work is allowed while the sand washing machine is in operation, and it is strictly prohibited to start the machine for maintenance.
