How to deal with the deviation and breakage of the filter belt of the belt filter press?


As a commonly used solid-liquid separation sludge treatment equipment,(Stone Crusher) the belt filter press consists of two upper and lower tensioned filter belts carrying the sludge layer, passing through a series of regularly arranged roller cylinders in an S-shape. The tension of the filter belt itself forms a squeezing and shearing force on the sludge layer, squeezing out the water in the sludge layer, and obtaining a mud cake with a higher solid content, thereby achieving sludge dehydration. It has a high degree of automation and its operation mode is continuous processing, so it has a huge advantage in processing capacity.

Since the supporting system of the belt filter press is relatively complex, various faults may occur during long-term operation. Among them, the most frequent fault is the deviation of the filter belt from the center line, that is, The direction of the filter belt is deflected, and the degree of deflection of the filter belt is related to the normal and long-term stable operation of the filter press. Once the filter belt is seriously misaligned, it will not only affect the mud removal effect, but even if other supporting equipment systems can operate normally, the filter press will be forced to shut down, thus affecting the normal operation of the equipment. In serious cases, the filter belt and related equipment may even be damaged. Hydraulic control system. There are many factors that lead to serious deviation of the filter belt (making the equipment unable to operate normally). Among them, issues such as component accuracy and rationality, filter belt quality, and whether the deviation adjustment system is properly set up are issues of the manufacturer.


If the equipment is qualified, the main reasons that cause the filter cloth of the belt filter press to deflect and break are as follows:


1. The roller is worn or there is sludge on the surface


The wear of various rollers such as correction rollers, transmission rollers, supporting rollers, press rollers, tension rollers, guide rollers, discharge rollers, bearing wear and jamming, or sludge adhesion on the surface will cause the filter belt to deviate. . At the same time, the plastic encapsulated on the surface of the transmission roller and the correction device roller is damaged, causing the left and right friction to be different, which will also cause the filter belt to deflect.


Solution: Regularly inspect the rollers for wear, repair or replace the rollers and bearings, and lubricate them; remove the sludge adhered to the surface of the rollers in a timely manner.


2. The axes are not parallel


During the use of the belt filter press, artificial adjustment of the fixed position of the bearing will cause the axis to be non-parallel, which will cause the filter belt to deviate.


Solution: Check and adjust the roller position regularly to keep the axis parallel.


3. Poor flocculation


If the flocculation is not good, the material passes through the mesh of the filter belt and is squeezed onto the roller, resulting in the formation of some films with uneven thickness on the roller surface, and the filter belt will deviate to the thicker side of the roller.


Solution: This kind of deviation phenomenon cannot be corrected by the deviation adjustment system. Therefore, when driving, the operator must observe whether the material is already in the form of flocculation. The material must be arranged on the center line with uniform thickness and timely adjustment. .


4. The correction roller is insensitive


The operation of the deflection-correcting roller is insensitive, and the filter belt deviates to one side. Once the limit switch fails, one end of the filter belt touches the frame of the dehydrator and turns sideways and is damaged.


Solution: If the trachea or air bag is damaged, it should be replaced in time; the correction slider is rusted and stuck and needs to be derusted and lubricated; the correction air valve is faulty or the correction angle is not adjusted correctly and needs to be repaired.


5. The position of the roller is incorrect


The position of the press roller or tension roller of the belt press is unbalanced, and the distance between the rollers at both ends of the filter belt changes, resulting in uneven stress on both sides of the filter belt, and the filter belt deviates from the end with greater stress to the smaller end.


Solution: Check whether the roller installation is balanced. This situation is likely to occur after the overhaul of the belt press. The bearings and rollers must be maintained regularly. If there is wear, repair it in time.


6. Uneven mud distribution


The pre-dewatering filter belt is unevenly distributed with mud. When the sludge enters the pressing section, the mud cake on the filter belt is thicker on one side and thinner on the other, and the filter belt will shift to the side with thicker mud. If the deflection force and the correction force are in opposite directions and conflict with each other, the filter belt will fold at the boundary between thick and thin mud layers.


Solution: Check and adjust the mud inlet, mud distribution device and filter sludge distribution. If the unbalanced load is serious, the sludge inlet distribution facilities need to be cleaned and the position of the flat mud plate adjusted. If the mud rake is partially worn or not installed properly, it needs to be corrected. The mud rake is inspected and repaired, and the mud scraper is replaced to make the mud evenly distributed, increase the seepage surface area of the sludge layer, increase the sludge water velocity, and reduce the deviation of the filter cloth.


7. The length-to-diameter ratio of the roller system is unreasonable.


The direction deviation of the filter belt is also related to the ratio of the length and diameter of the upper and lower rollers. If the diameters are the same, the greater the reference value of length and diameter, the greater the interference of the roller by the force, which will easily lead to the deformation of the roller and the lower core part. Concave, it is very easy to cause direction deviation. In addition, the precision of each roller and the flatness deviation between them are also one of the main factors causing the direction deviation of the filter belt.


Solution: Ensure a small length and diameter reference value to reduce the interference of the roller by force; ensure that the upper and lower bearing support points of the structure have at least one pair of processing reference points to facilitate installation as a standard. Use the reference roller to accurately measure (directly or indirectly) the flatness of other rollers. The flatness deviation between the squeeze roller and the guide roller is within ±0.1mm. At the same time, ensure that the flatness deviation between each roller does not exceed ±0.1mm, radar method, measurement method or diagonal method can be used.


8. The corrosion of pneumatic seals causes the direction of the filter belt to deviate


The dehydrator will produce a large amount of water vapor during its operation. This gas with a lot of water vapor enters the air compressor. Part of the water vapor solidifies and turns into water and accumulates in the gas storage bottle of the air compressor. The rest remains in a saturated state. The form of water vapor appears in the entire air supply system. When the water in the air compressor gas tank and the belt filter press pneumatic triplex is not discharged in time, a series of pneumatic seal outlet holes will be blocked and corroded, and the valves will be corrected. Failure, causing the deviation correction device cylinder to be unable to correct on time when the filter belt deviates in direction.


Solution: After each operation of the equipment, be sure to check whether the air compressor gas tank is automatically filled with water, and manually drain the water in the pneumatic triple part of the belt filter press. In addition, check the air supply and pneumatic seal. Parts should be inspected and repaired frequently and replaced as soon as possible to ensure the normal operation of the system.


In general, there are many reasons that affect the direction deviation of the filter belt of the belt filter press, including product design, actual operation and other aspects. Operation suggestions for filter belt deviation


1. When the lower filter belt is normal but the upper filter belt is folded. Adjust the tensioning pressure of the lower filter belt to micro-pressure or 0. The tensioning pressure of the upper filter belt is normal. Manually force the reset to force the upper correction probe to be in the correction position. Run the belt filter press and the upper filter belt moves forward. After passing through the folding area, all operations can be restored to their original state, and the tensioning pressure of the upper and lower filter belts is also restored to their original values.


2. When the upper filter belt is normal and the lower filter belt is folded and deviated. Reduce the tensioning pressure of the upper filter belt to micro pressure or 0. The tensioning pressure of the lower filter belt is normal. Manually force the reset to force the lower correction probe to be in the correction position. Run the belt filter press and the lower filter belt advances through the folding area. Afterwards, the operating conditions everywhere returned to their original state, and the tensioning pressure of the upper and lower filter belts also returned to their original normal values.


3. When both the upper and lower filter belts are deviated and one filter belt is folded (usually the upper filter belt), first force the upper and lower filter belts to reset, adjust the tensioning pressure of the lower filter belt to micro pressure or 0, and then The tensioning pressure of the filter belt is normal. One person forces the correction probe of the upper filter belt to be in the correction position, and the other person forces the correction probe of the lower filter belt to be in the correction position. Run the belt filter press until the upper filter belt advances through the folding area, and the lower filter belt The tensioning pressure is increased to the normal value. After the upper and lower filter belts have reached the normal position, all parameters are adjusted to normal.


Routine maintenance of belt filter press


In order to ensure the normal operation of the belt filter press and extend its service life, not only must it be used and operated correctly, but also daily maintenance must be done.


1. Check the cleanliness and filtration efficiency of the filter cloth. At the end of each work, the filter cloth needs to be cleaned once to ensure that there are no residues on the surface of the filter cloth. If the filter cloth is damaged, it should be repaired or replaced in time.


2. Check the sealing surface of the filter plate and remove the residue on the sealing surface to avoid leakage of slurry and liquid during operation, and pay attention to protect the sealing surface from collision. (Placing it upright can reduce deformation)


3. Regularly measure the insulation performance of the belt filter press electrical appliances. If there is a fault in the electrical control system, first cut off the power supply and stop repairing or replacing parts.


4. After the new machine is installed and used for one month, change the oil and clean the fuel tank. After that, clean the fuel tank every six months and replace the hydraulic oil in the tank. (The oil must meet the requirements, and the oil level must be higher than the middle of the liquid level line)


5. If the filter press malfunctions or the hydraulic cylinder leaks, please replace the O-ring seal and combined gasket after disassembly.


6. The temperature of the filtered material liquid should be lower than the rated temperature, which is generally 100. And the material liquid must not be mixed with debris and hard objects that can easily block the feed inlet to avoid damaging the filter cloth.


7. The valves such as feed liquid and washing water should be opened and closed according to the operating procedures, and do not mix.


8. After the work is completed, the remaining liquid material in the tunnel should be put away in time.
